CHRISTMAS
CELEBRATION:
Annual Christmas Celebration
Hosted by : Bonifay Fire & Rescue, City
of Bonifay, and Bonifay Kiwanis Club
The Bonifay Kiwanis Club is honored to team
up with the Bonifay Fire & Rescue
and City of Bonifay as they host the Annual Christmas Celebration in Bonifay at Veterans Park across from Memorial Field.
The celebration kicks off with the Bonifay Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade
of Lights in downtown Bonifay beginning at 6:00 PM. After the last participant
of the Christmas Parade of Lights has gone through Veterans Boulevard, the Bonifay
Police Department will close the road to all traffic. Come and enjoy the family
fun that is packed full of sights and sounds of Christmas.
The Christmas Parade of Lights will start at Piggly Wiggly and go through downtown
Bonifay beginning at 6:00 PM and will end on Veterans Boulevard. Line up will
be held at the Bonifay Elementary School located at 307 West North Street. All
participants are asked to be at the school no later than 5:30 PM, be in festive
holiday attire, and have their vehicles and floats decorated with Christmas lights
and decorations. For safety, the Bonifay Kiwanis Club asks that you DO NOT throw
candy or beads as you go through the parade route. The Bonifay Kiwanis Club has
made treat bag for Santa to give to all the children at the Christmas Celebration.
Get in the Christmas spirit by following the parade to the Veterans Park where
there is lots to see and do at the Christmas Celebration. The Bonifay Fire & Rescue
will start the celebration off with a bang as they light the sky with fireworks.
Enjoy a twinkling start to the festive season as you walk through the Christmas
lights on your way to visit Santa. After you watch the Holiday Concert performed
by the Holmes County High School Chorus and Drama Department, make sure you taste
the delicious hot dog and hot chocolate provide by the City of Bonifay. The Christmas
Celebration is free to the public so bring the family for a festive night of
good holiday cheer.
